1966 Chevelle / SS Exhaust System Kits
The 1966 Chevelle had two different dual exhaust system when GM outfitted these muscle cars. The small block dual exhaust cars recieved 2 1/2" head pipes and 2" tail pipes with resonators welded on. GM accomplished this by welding in a small section to the front left head pipe and swaging down the right. The 1966 with the big 396 used 2 1/2" head pipes and 2 1/4" tail pipes. Our exhaust system kits on either application come with the correct head pipes with wrinkles and flats and correct tail pipes with wrinkles and double angle cut. Part of the year used a full length tail pipe we believe this to be most of the cars but some cars were derfinitely outfitted with a tail pipes ending behind the rear wheel.The kit will also include corect mufflers logo deleted, correct muffler hangers, clamps, screws, installation instructions, diagrams and sealant. tail pipe hangers are available as well as retainers and strap clamps for reproduction authenticity. Ask about our concours pakgage to bump up to corded rubber zinc plated hangers, ss clamps, ceramic coated flanges, retainers and strap clamps. |

GM A Body Front Hanger
These hangers are correct for 1964-1972 GM A-Body Exhaust Systems They come standard with any of our GM A Body reproduction exhaus systems. We offer them zinc plated built with corded rubbers to simulate the original bias tire rubbers. Step up to our crush the competition package and we will build them by hand with our original button head rivets.

1966 - 1967 Chevelle SS Tail Pipe Hangers
These tail pipe hangers were used on the 1966 Chevelle SS Short Tail Pipe Systems and all of the 1967 Chevelle SS. They have been reproduced from the original pictured here come zinc plated built with corded rubbers, buton head rivets, retainers and correct screws. They are available with either our 1966 Chevelle SS short tail pipe system or our 1967 SS Chevelle Exhaust Systems

1966 Chevelle Tail Hanger
These hangers were used on the 1966 Chevell SS with long tail pipes. These hangers are reproduced from an original and come zinc plated buitl with corded rubbers and button head rivets. They are a very nice reproduction of the original hanger that outfitted these cars. They are available with any of our 1966 Chevelle SS long tail pipe systems

1964 - 1972 GM A - Body Retainer
These retainers were used on the GM A - Body Muscle cars on the muffler hangers. The attaching screw first went through this reatiner and then through the rubber. The reatainer functioned as a washer to protect the rubber on the hanger. Our retainers have been reproduced from the orginal in the picture and come zinc plated. They are a Gardner EXhaust exclusive reproduction and come standard with our concours show pkg. or can be optioned for with one of our entire systems.

2 1/4 " Strap Clamp
This strap clamp was used on many of the GM - A Body Muscle Cars. It was used to attach the tail pipes to the tail pipe hangers. Our strap clamps have been reproduced from the orginal shown here and come zinc plated with the correct sheet metal screw. They come standard with our concours show pkg. or can be optioned with one of our entire systems.
