1970 -1971 GTO
The 1970 1971 GTO Systems were the same for both automatic and manual transmission cars howver they did change from 2" to 2 1/4" head pipes for the std duty and HO cars. . The rest of the system consisted of 25" long mufflers and 2 1/4" tail pipes with a splitter placed on the end for aesthetics. Our systems come reproduced from originals, they come with the correct head pipes with correct flats where applicable, correct flanges, mufflers, muffler hangers, gm style clamps installation instructions, diagrams and sealant. Brackets, bolts and splitters our repro tail hangers, and 2 1/2" strap clamps are available. Ask about our concours show pkg when original just is not good enough.

1968 1972 GTO Muffler Hangers
These hangers are correct for 1968 - 1972 GM A-body cars. They are slightly different than the orignal but the differences are even difficult to tell by the naked eye. The hangers pictured here are our concours hangers built with corded rubbers to similate orignal tire rubbers. They come part of our concours show package

1964 - 1969 GM A - Body Tail Pipe Hangers:
The 1970 - 1971 GTO Hanger is another reproduction that came about due to our belief of a possible hindrance to the fit of one of our exhaust systems.
Our hangers are reproduced from the originals you see here. They use the correct corded rubbers and button head rivets. They are equipped with the correct 5/16 18 weld nut and corresponding screw. They come powder coated chassis black as original with zinc plated brackets and rivets, and are accompanied by installation instructions for easy installment. These hangers may be purchased with one of our exhaust systems. As with all of our reproductions we encourage you to compare with originals.

1967 - 1969 GM 2 1/4 " Strap Clamp
The GM Strap Clamp pictured here is a 2 1/2" strap clamp. It was used exclusively in the GM Muscle Car Market to attach the 1970-1971 GTO Splitter to the tail pipe hanger. The strap clamps that have been available previously for this application were 2 1/4" which can not function properly. We decided to reproduce this clamp after realizing that no matter how nice our 1970 -1971 GTO exhaust systems look they still are incomplete with out the presence of this clamp. Our clamps have been reproduced from the original above and come zinc plated with the correct sheet metal screw. |

1964 - 1972 GM A - Body Retainer
These retainers were used on the GM A - Body Muscle cars on the muffler hangers. The attaching screw first went through this reatiner and then through the rubber. The reatainer functioned as a washer to protect the rubber on the hanger. Our retainers have been reproduced from the orginal in the picture and come zinc plated. They are a Gardner EXhaust exclusive reproduction and come standard with our concours show pkg. or can be optioned for with one of our entire systems.

1970 - 1971 GTO Splitter
This is the correct reproduction splitter for the 1970 - 1971 GTO. Althought these splitters are not our own reproduction they are a very nice copy of the original tips. Original splitters actually were not chrome plated all the way back to the front of the tip when the car came from the factory. These tips are a very nice reproduction of what would have been an NOS tip. We offer these tips with our 1970 - 1971 GTO exhaust systems |

1970 - 1971 GTO Tail Hanger Bracket
This is the correct hanger bracket that attached to the frame rail on every 1970 -1971 GTO. Although it is not our reproduction we have compared them to original and they are an excellent reproduction. The washer tha was originally used with these hangers was a large cup washer. This washer is no longer available anywhere. We do provide the correct size washer, however, the concours car owner may either want to keep their own or do some junk yarding. The rest of the attaching hardware is correct and will come with the brackets. These brackets are available with our 1970 - 1971 GTO exhaust systems. |

1970 GTO Ram Air D Port Manifolds
These are the correct manifolds for the 1970 GTO's with the Ram Air III option. Although they are not one of our reproductions they are a very nice reproduction of the original manifold. We have decided to offer these manifolds only after having spoken to numerous customers who have been mislead into purchasing incorrect manifolds for there particular car. Rest assured we have searched out the best reproduction manifold on the market and will now offer them to any customer who would like them for their D Port GTO.
