The 1970 Chevelle SS is considered to be one of the most sought after and desirable Muscle Cars. The LS6 Chevelle is possibly the most popular Muscle Car of all time. Which is why we were obviously perplexed when we found out that there was not a suitable tail pipe hanger available.

The hangers the aftermarket companies offer for 1969 and 1970 - 72 Chevelle SS kits are actually Chevelle small block tail hangers. The original hangers and our reproductions accomplish three purposes: they hang the tail pipe, clamp the extension to the resonator and provide the proper clearance below the bumper. The only place to get these correct hangers is to be fortunate enough to find NOS or to purchase a set from us. The hangers come as a pair pretapped with the correct u-bolt and shoulder nuts. They can be purchased only with one of our exhaust systems.
