1968 Corvette Big Block Manual Exhaust System

The 1968 Corvette big block manual transmission exhaust systems used 2 1/2″ front pipes and 2 1/2″ rear pipes. Our kits come 14 ga aluminized with the correct front pipes with correct flats on left hand head pipe, correct flanges, extensions, donuts, sealant, guillotine clamps, mufflers, installation instructions and diagrams. Reproduction muffler hangers are available as well as heat riser stud kit and tips are available. Our system comes with flats in the rear pipes as original and guillotine clamps for center exhaust hanger but opened style clamps for tips. Ask about our concourse show package for the hobbiest who can’t stand surface rust. or our N-11 mufflers for a little more rumble.

1969 - 1972 Corvettte Muffler Hangers

The hangers we offer for this application are the correct GM replacement hangers. They come with the correct screws and attaching hardware. They can be compared to the orgiinals at the lower right of the the accompanying picture

1964 - 1968 Corvette Flattened Top 2 1/2" Guillotine Clamp

These clamps are an essential part of any concourse corvette restoration project. This clamp seen here has been reproduced from our original. Our clamps come with all the correct nuts and lock washers. They are only available in raw steel for the Corvette Purist

1968 Corvette Exhaust Tips

These are the correct reproduction tips for the 1968 Corvette. The 1969 Corvette tip is similar but slightly different on the reduction length. We have reproduced both. Our tips are chrome plated and slit as original. This will add the finising touch to any 1968 Corvette exhaust system

Corvette SB Heat Riser

This is the correct small block heat riser for the 1957 - 1972 small block corvettes. Our heat risers come with the correct Corvette small block gasket. Our heat risers are available with any of our heat risers are available with any of our 1957 to 1972 corvette small block non high performance exhaust systems.

1957 - 1973 Extensions and Gaskets

These are the correct Chevy extensions and donut gaskets that were used in the head pipes of every chevy from 1957 up until 1972. They come as part of any Gardner Exhaust Chevy Kit

Chevy Stud Kit

This is the correct stud kit for the 1957-1972 Chevys. This stud kit has the correct dog point on the studs and uses the correct stove nuts as original. This kit is available with any of our Chevy systems.

Sealant

Originally a clear silicon sealant was used in all the joint to joint connections on most exhaust systems. This was referred to as "grease" in the assembly manual but it was a clear sealant like the one pictured here. After analyzing original samples off our pipes and searching incessantly we came up with a match with the sealant pictured here. This sealant comes as part of any Gardner Exhaust Kit
