1967 Nova Exhaust System

The 1967 Nova dual exhaust system consisted of 2 1/2″ head pipes that necked down to 2″ at he manifold, 2″ tail pipes that exited behind the rear wheel and offset inlet and outlet mufflers. Our system comes reproduced from an original system from a low mileage car, and consists of the following. Correct 2 1/2″ head pipes with correct wrinkle bends and flats, extensions, donuts, correct 2″ tail pipes with angle cut. We include the correct offset inlet and outlet mufflers, gm style clamps, chevy small block flanges, installation instructions, diagrams and sealant. Reprodcution hangers are available as well as a concours show kit for those of us where original is not good enough.

1965 - 1967 Nova Muffler Front Hanger:

These hangers are another reproduction that are essential on any high quality Nova restortion. Our hangers are zinc plated and hand built with the correct corded tire rubber. They have been reproduced from the original you see here and will ome with the correct screws and correct 5 /16 ubolts. We are pleased to offer them with our 1965 -67 Nova exhaust systems.

1967 Nova Tail Hangers:

Although these hangers are not one of our own reproductions we have compared them to one of our original hangers and they are a high quality reproduction. They come with the correct screws and we are pleased to offer them with our 1967 Nova dual exhaust systems.

1964 - 1972 Chevy Small Block Heat Riser

This is the correct Heat Riser for the 1964 - 1974 Chevy Small Blocks. It is an option with any of our Chevy systems and comes with the correct gasket.

Extensions and Gaskets

These are the correct Chevy extensions and donut gaskets that were used in the head pipes of every chevy from 1957 up until 1972. They come as part of any Gardner Exhaust Chevy Kit

Chevy Stud Kit

This is the correct stud kit for the 1957-1972 Chevys. This stud kit has the correct dog point on the studs and uses the correct stove nuts as original. This kit is available with any of our Chevy systems.

GM Style Clamp

Although the original head pipes on the 1967 Nova were welded to the mufflers. The clamp pictured here is an excellent copy of a GM vintage clamp and is great alternative for those who wisely chose not to do so.

Sealant

Originally a clear silicon sealant was used in all the joint to joint connections on most exhaust systems. This was referred to as "grease" in the assembly manual but it was a clear sealant like the one pictured here. After analyzing original samples off our pipes and searching incessantly we came up with a match with the sealant pictured here. This sealant comes as part of any Gardner Exhaust Kit
